Atalaya Science Smart

Our 6th graders held a science workshop with the early years students where they helped them discover how a caterpillar becomes a butterfly through an experiment. Previously, 6th graders went deeper, through the scientific method, to be able to explain what happened in that experiment. They discovered what a chemical reaction is, what gas came off and how that gas behaves, occupying all the space in the balloon and therefore inflating it. It was fun !!

Third graders have become true geologists . They have studied the properties of minerals and have made their own geodes.  They seemed real!

First and second grade students have been learning about Ecology in Science Smart . In this sense, they have done several workshops to raise awareness of environmental care. Some of the workshops are: planting and care of plants, paper-recycling and water cleaning using homemade filters workshops. -  Planting and care of plants workshop. - Cleaning water using homemade filters workshops . - P aper-recycling  workshop.
